A lot of our clients tell us that they prefer interviews that “devolve into a conversation,” because it’s feels more natural than a presentation. What if you could present conversationally regardless of what the interviewers do?

Too often we work with clients that show up on camera with no emotional response on their faces. Some call this RBF, but we recognize it happens to EVERYONE regardless of gender or experience.
Communication, as the saying goes, really is a two-way street. So active communication is the only way to make a connection in somebody’s mind.
All too often, technically-minded service providers think that the one and only thing they need to communicate about is their solution to a prospective problem. This is understandable because problem-solvers zero in on problems and love to solve them. But it’s a critical mistake because it fails to take the bigger picture into consideration. It leaves out an understanding of how the prospect is relating to their problem. Ultimately, it’s all about tactics and nothing about strategy, and it massively lessens your ability to win a project.
