do not take your inspiration and turn it into information when it comes to winning people over when you’re presenting when you’re the CEO trying to win over your audience or you’re a sales pitch team or an interview team trying to win a project you aren’t there to disseminate information information is for pamphlets presentations have a lot to do with personality they have to do with putting more into it not holding back too many times I’ve seen presenters with really powerful content just kind of dial back the power words but more importantly dial back their presentation and turn it into information now just look at the difference here okay i think that passion and strong bold communicating is really important to making your point and I’m showing you that now now let’s watch the same thing without the oomph so it’s really important for us to put our passion and our inspiration behind our messages too many times I see people simply put out the information and that they don’t get the excitement or the buy in we have to be alive here presenting happens through our mouths it happens through our eyes it happens through our posture the way we lean the way we use body language the aliveness and if you don’t pay attention to that aliveness what you’re going to do is take potentially motivating compelling messages and turn them into information let’s not turn inspiration into information let’s turn information into inspiration and you’ve got to be alive you got to feel your words and you’ve got to reach out with everything you have to make an impression on your audience [Music]
